Hydatid cyst is a parasitic infestation caused by Echinococcus granülosus. In this study we present a pulmonary hydatid cyst case that has radiological and bronchoscopic view like a malign mass. A 17 year-old male patient. He has cough, sputum and hemoptysis complaints. He has 10 kg weight loss in last two mounths. Thorax computed tomography showed a consolide lesion in the the right upper lobe. Fiberoptic bronchoscopy was performed in this case. There was an endobronchial hump lesion covered with necrotic tissue, in the right upper lobe anterior segment. The result of bronchoscopic biopsy was reported as ‘hydatid cyst’. We found a cystic lesion at the left liver lobe in abdominal ultsonography. Patient transferred for operation at thoracic surgery department. Hydatid cyst was rejected by operation. Hydatid cyst is usually located in the lower lobes of the lungs. Although cyst has classic radiologic, bronchoscopic findings, we should think hydatid cyst in different radiological and bronchoscopic findings too.
