Children in the pre-school education group are vulnerable to health risks and at the same time they may be exposed to various accidents in educational environments due to their developmental characteristics. This study aims to reduce the related risks and aims to contribute to increase the health literacy of preschool teachers. Patients and Methods: The trainings were completed on two full days by establishing the basic information about pre-school child health in the framework determined by the experts of the field and the training program including the determination of emergency situations and interventions. 83 pre-school teachers participated in the training program prepared for the implementation of a total of 106 pre-school teachers working in the Edirne Central District. The results of the study were obtained through the academic achievement test and personal information form, which was formed by the researchers and nine field specialists involved in the training program. The data of 59 participants who were able to complete the data tools in full and to perform pretest-posttest matching were included in the study. Results: In the study, it was found that the academic achievement of the teachers increased after the training (t(58)=17.27, p0.05) and marital status (t(58)=0.61, p>0.05) . Conclusion: With the training program applied to pre-school teachers, the level of health information about the children's health has been increased. This study, which is thought to support the participants' health literacy, is also expected to help the children who are educated to protect their health, to improve and to intervene when necessary, to better manage the processes in this frame. In order to achieve success in this area, the scope of the application should be enlarged and expanded, updated and maintained.
