Bronchial carcinoid tumors constitute approximately 5 percent of all lung tumors. They occur with about equal frequency in both sexes. Most patients are young or middle aged adults. These tumors are not related to cigarette smoking or other known pulmonary carcinogenic factors. Dependent upon the location of the tumor within the lung clinical presentation and morphologic appearance, these tumors are four variants. These variants are the central carcinoid, the peripheral carcinoid, atypical carcinoid, tumorlet type bronchial carcinoid. In this study, two cases diagnosed as bronchial carcinoid turner in Pathology Depart-ment of Medical School of Selçuk University between May 1987 -April 1988 were presented and discusseJ.
