Detection of antihlarnydial IgG antibody prevalance by ELISA in pritnary enfertile women who dwell in Konya Chlamydia trachomatis plays in important role as an etiologic agent ,of genital tract infections causing infertility in women. In order to detect 1gG antibodies against this pathogenis agent rapidly, sera of 84 women of whom 42 were infertile and 42 had normal delivery were assayed by ELISA. Mean age of women involved in (his study performed in routin laboratory of Microbiology and Clinic Microbiology Departmant of Selcuk Univercity Medical School was 30. Antichlamydial IgG antibodies found to be negative in control group and positive in 12% of patients (5 of 42). We observed that ELISA had both reliable sensitivity and specifity in this study.
