The number of patients admitted ta our department with spontaneous. pneumothoıar during the Last ten years is 150. Conservative and intercostal drainage methods used in 30 patients failed. Therefore, they are alt operated on. Superiority of lambolu parietal pleural method over the other methods used for this group of disorders have been discussed. No recurrence has been reported during the 4 - year follow - oup period.
