İn this study, we investigated the relationships betvveen tumour proliferating determinants (PCNA, Ki-67, and index of AgNOR) in infiltrating ductal carcinoma of breast both oestrogen receptor protein and P53. Twenty-five cases vvhose were operated and diagnosed as infiltrating ductal carcinoma were included in the study. The tu mour containing slides were stained immunohistochemically with PCNA, Ki-67, estrogen receptor protein and P53. One thousand cells were counted and the indexes for each staining were established as the number of po- sitive cells was divided to 1000. Additionally, the NOR corpuscles which were established by silver impregnation technique in 100 tumour cells were counted and the AgNOR index was determined by dividing this count to 100. AH indexes were compared to each other by statistical means. VVe found that oestrogen receptor positiviness was negatively linked to the expression of P53 and the indexes of PCNA, Ki-67, and AgNOR. İn conclusion, we de- monstrated that ali of above mentioned indexes had close relationships to each other, so they may have prog- nostic values.
