In this study, an intervieıv among 265 women in. Konya, in 1991 mode ta .find our how they are in-formed. where they gol their inffirmations and wlıai kind of protective measures were taking for !heir unwanited pregnancies. Among ıhem 78,9% were using contraceptives and 62.7 % of them were using medicailv approved eff ective comraceptives. The remaining 16.2% preferred tradional contraceptive. Protections-. About 38% of hıtal regardiess of using coniraceptive ur not had voluntary abortion. In the inten.iew [hen have state(' that 55%, 22%, and 11% have learned the use of comraceptives from health workers, hu.sbands and heighbours. respectively. The reınaining 21% WhO didn4r use contraceptives either had the desire of having pregnancy or dini have infonnations on contraceptive measures.
