Classic kernicterus or the neurotoxicity of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia is known well, but the pathological jaundice may show itself vary different subtle neurological dysfunction at the some patients. 159 patients male 61.1 %, female 38.9 %, mean age, 24.6±13.11 months, peak bilirubin levels 20.07±4.85 mg/dl uho had therapied neona tal hyperbilirubinemia were studied. Newborns with serum total bilirubin levels of 15a-19.9 mg/dl in 97 patients (group I), 20-24.9 mg/dl in 41 patients (group II), 25-29.9 mg/dl in 15 patients (group III), and > 30 mg/dl in six patients (group IV) were accepted. V/e performed Denver Test ali patients and performed odiogram test 46 patients. We determined that subtle neurological abnormalities and high bilirubin levels correlate each other. However, we showed that group I and II had some problematic findings lesser degree than group III and IV. Management of jaundice in the Asian nevvborn is stili problematic and we need a lot of studies about toxic biliru bin levels.
